David Zwirner Paris Raymond Pettibon
In collaboration with the multidisciplinary design studio Wkshps, I worked with American contemporary art gallery, David Zwirner, to help promote their inaugural show at their newly opened Paris location and upcoming online art auction.
Showcasing the solo show of Raymond Pettibon, known for his stylized ink drawings and work with the southern California punk scene in the ‘80s, I adapted the identity system Wkshps developed for Zwirner to create this mailing suite of printed matter for their private and public audiences.
From design to print production, I managed the project with local printers to approve quotes, pantones, paper swatches, and print methods.
In addition to this package was a series of ads extending the design for the magazines, Frieze and Artforum.
More on the Pettibon show can be found here.
Along with the suite above, I designed two additional projects with Zwirner— an update to their standard communications collateral to include their Paris gallery information, as well as early conceptual experiments to brand Yayoi Kusama, Everyday I Pray for Love.
